Job PurposeZenwork is searching for a dynamic, highly motivated, knowledgeable Sales Engineer. This position will report to the VP of Sales/ Chief Strategy Officer and will collaborate with the entire sales team as a technical liaison during all aspects of the sales cycle including prospecting, demonstrations, contracting, closure and first year account maintenance. They will also participate in meetings with the sales and marketing team to provide input and feedback on conferences, competitive insights, marketing messaging, sales collateral, and other items.

Job Duties and Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities: 
• Prepare and give technical presentations to explain to customers how the products and services work.
• Support sales executives with solution selling into prospect account base. Communicate with the sales team to understand consumer demands and offer sales support where necessary.
• Partner with sales executives to plan, prepare and execute strategic deals in complex sales cycles.
• Successfully match customer pain/requirements to proposed solutions.
• Create and deliver presentations and demos that clearly communicate the uniqueness of the value proposition.
• Manage all technical aspects of RFP / RFI responses.
• Responding to questions from customers regarding product and/or API capabilities and implementation
• Coordinating with technical resources in offshore offices to obtain detailed answers to customer questions.
• Effectively communicate client needs to the R&D teams for future product enhancements.
• Researching, developing, and modifying products to meet customers' technical requirements and needs.
• Training other members of the sales team on the technical aspects of the company's products and services. 

Required Qualifications
Education
• Bachelor’s degree required, Computer Science or Software Engineering preferred.
Experience
• At least 5+ years Software Engineering experience
• At least 3+ Years Software Sales experience
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
• Experience in US Tax and Compliance preferred
• Proven track record selling complex enterprise solutions
• Ability to forge strong, long-lasting relationships with senior executives
• Ability to creatively explain and present complex concepts in an easy to understand manner
• Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent presentation and creativity skills
• Communicate requirements to distributed development teams
 
Working Conditions
Our preference is for this position to be in Dallas/Westlake, Texas office, though we are willing to consider a remote arrangement for the right candidate.
